The Ferryman, London, 15th November

We are very excited to announce this year’s MA State of the Art theatre trip. The trip takes place on 15th November and we are going to see the matinee of Jez Butterworth’s play 5 star play The Ferryman at the Gielgud Theatre on Shaftsbury Avenue in London.

Detailed Description

We will be travelling on the 10:03 train from York station.  Please meet outside WH Smith at 9:30 am.  The performance begins at 13:30  so we will need to go straight to the theatre (Piccadilly or Leister Square Tube) from King’s Cross.   It would be advisable to bring a packed lunch with you.

We will travel back to York on 20:00 train (departing King’s Cross).  That will give some free time in London after the performance finishes around 16:30.

The cost of the places is £5.  The trip is heavily subsidised by the School.  There are no refunds if students drop out. The places are available on a first come first served basis.

Please inform Julie of any medical or allergies we should be aware of.   Please note we do not have control of the train departures, and our tickets are only valid on the trains booked, so we cannot change tickets or fund travel for anyone not travelling on the trains booked e.g. if you miss the train.
