Join the YSJ team as staff, students and alumni take on the York 10k!  Our discounted ticket price covers your entry to the event and a YSJ team t-shirt, but our team is running for more than just fun (if running can ever be called that)! We are raising money for our alumni-funded scholarships which help underrepresented individuals access the education they deserve. Each runner is asked to raise a minimum of £100, the entirety of which will go straight to the fund. This is an amazing opportunity to see York in a new way and support your YSJ community.  

There are only 15 tickets available, but watch this space as we will be releasing more at a later date!

More about the alumni-funded scholarships:
In the current academic year, we are supporting 9 undergraduate and postgraduate students and will continue to support them throughout their degree. These individuals come from backgrounds underrepresented in Higher Education, such as mature students, carers and those whose family circumstances have drastically changed. The need for scholarships is extremely high, meaning 63% of applicants missed out on a scholarship last year due to lack of funds. We want to support more students and we can do so with your help. If you are not able to join us for the run, you can still support our team by donating to our JustGiving campaign (YSJ take on the York 10k - 2025 - JustGiving). Here, you will also find the team’s training updates and the total raised so far.

Thank you for registering your interest for Your YSJ Reunion 2025. We can’t wait to welcome as many of you back to campus on Saturday 28 June 2025. 

Booking details - Please read the options below. We would be delighted to welcome back to campus as a daytime only guest, a full day guest or evening only. 

Day Only - £48.00
This ticket gives you entrance to Your YSJ Reunion during the day and Studnets' Union all day. This includes: 

• Entry to the reunion and access to campus all day: 10.00am - 4.00pm
• Arrival refreshments and pastries: 10.00am - 12.00pm
• Hot buffet lunch with dessert table, including two drinks tokens: 12.00pm - 2.00pm (this includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).  
• Access to Stalls of our years event based in the dining room. Giving all guests to meet new and old friends and catch up as well as see our archive materials and share memories
• Access to guest lectures (please reserve your space whilst booking)   
  • Lecture One, 11am: 'Our Green Univeristy': YSJ Grounds and the Environmental impact & changes - Nick Coakley (Director of Estates Management) 
  • Lecture Two, 2.00pm: Dr Martin Hall & Dr Lauren Stephenson 'Cinema & Social Justice' 
• Access to campus tours: 11.45am & 2.30pm (please reserve your space whilst booking)  
• Option to book onto the award winning Deathly Dark Tour in the afternoon: 4.00pm…(*additional charge)
• YSJ Quiz: 4.30pm in the Students' Union with prizes to be won (team of 6 or less - sign up on the day)
• Exclusive access to the Students’ Union all day and until close.
  

Full day - £90.00*
If you buy both a Full Day Ticket you will receive a £13.00 discount on your combined ticket price. This includes all the above plus access to the reunion drinks and evening meal. This includes: 

• A drinks reception. 
• Two course dinner followed by coffee/tea
• Live band for the evening entertainment till 9.30pm followed by evening access to the Students’ Union until close
  
  

Evening meal only - £55.00*
This ticket gives you access to the reunion drinks and evening meal only. This includes: 

• A drinks reception. 
• Two course dinner followed by coffee/tea
• Live band for the evening entertainment till 9.30pm followed by evening access to the Students’ Union until close

*There is a limit for evening meal availability due to size of venue. 

Please note day ticket holders will not be able to upgrade their ticket on the day.

A welcome pack  
No matter which ticket you buy, you’ll receive an exciting reunion welcome pack. This will include a YSJ reunion lanyard, complete with a photo of you! Treasure hunt and some YSJ treats. After you buy your ticket, we’ll ask you to submit your throwback photo from your time studying with us, so make sure to pick a good one!  

The chance to make new memories 
Throughout the day there’ll be plenty of time and space to socialise together, explore our campus and enjoy York in summer!  

An exclusive reunion pin badge 
You will have an opportunity to purchase an exclusive reunion pin badge which was designed specifically for our bi annual reunions.
