Detailed Description
Whitby is a charming British seaside town, with all the quirks of the English coast, including fun and vibrant amusement arcades alongside the array of seafront houses and cottages. The town lies under the shadow of East Cliff, home to the ruins of Whitby Abbey, where Cædmon, the earliest recognised poet lived, and where, more famously, Bram Stoker took inspiration for Dracula.
As part of the trip you will get to experience the alternative musical festival, Whitby Goth Weekend®. Perhaps one of the most wonderful parts of the weekend are the fabulous fashions donned by thousands of attendees - from Gothic to Steampunk and sometimes downright macabre costumes. It’s definitely an experience you don’t want to miss out on!
The Global Campus team will arrange all transport so you just need to turn up and have fun. The price of the trip is just £10 including return travel to Whitby.
This trip is only open to students and dependents are, unfortunately, unable to join.
