LUBAS First Aid for Sport & Exercise Level 2 – Tuesday 4th February 2025, 9am - 5pm
Providing pitch-side first aid can be overwhelming and it’s therefore essential that you are prepared to meet your responsibilities when providing treatment or when asked to support a medical team.
First Aid for Sport and Exercise 2 is designed to develop your core basic skills and knowledge. It will enable you to provide more advanced treatment options when working without direct supervision at sporting events or to be part of a medical team supporting Doctors, Paramedics, Physios, Sports Therapists, and other Health Professionals. More advanced first-aid skills are vital for coaches, volunteers, stewards, and everyone who forms part of a pitch-side support team.
Many sports organisations, colleges and schools are now making attendance on an advanced sport-specific first aid course compulsory for staff covering sports events. This course is suitable for all non-medical professionals working in the world of sports & exercise and is ideal for students on work placements.
FASE 2 is a highly practical and interactive course with attendee participation at the centre of the learning. As healthcare professionals working in sports, instructors draw on their extensive experience & knowledge in managing traumatic sporting injuries. Your questions and real-life examples are always encouraged in a relaxed but professional environment.
FASE 2 is the second step in the ‘Sports Trauma Pathway’. If you are looking to develop your basic first-aid skills, this course is for you.

With these courses being externally delivered, YSJU offers a zero-refund policy on these events. If you are unable to attend a course that you have registered for, you are able to sell this place to another YSJU student up to 7-days before the scheduled event. In this instance, we would need confirmation of the student’s name and email address to notify the education provider.
