Masterclass 3 – Building Personal and Team Resilience and Wellbeing
Strengthen your personal resilience and wellbeing while learning how to create an environment where others can thrive.
Course facilitator bio: Rachel Martin has worked in learning and development for nearly 20 years. As a Senior Lecturer at York St John University, Rachel has led postgraduate modules in leadership, coaching and wellbeing. She has worked extensively with NHS Trusts across Humberside and North Yorkshire, providing bespoke leadership programmes and tailored masterclasses.
Rachel has now established her own company specialising in leadership development and executive coaching, working with public and private
organisations. She remains an Associate Lecturer at York St John University and also works as an Associate for two National organisations.

her expertise and knowledge:

• Post Graduate Certificate in Education
• An Accredited PRINT® coach
• A Certified Facilitator for Time to Think, Nancy Kline

• A trained bereavement support volunteer for St Leonard’s Hospice for over 6 years
York St John University – CPD cancellation policy
Cancellation by delegates
We appreciate that there may be occasions where you are unable to attend a CPD course and need to cancel your booking, and we aim to make the process as straight forward as possible. To cancel your place on a CPD course, workshop or other CPD event which requires payment, notice of cancellation must be given ASAP by email to business@yorksj.ac.uk. If your course fee is paid by your organisation, then please be aware that you will need to inform your manager directly.
If you are a fee payer, you may be able to receive a refund depending on when you inform us of the cancellation:
- If you cancel more than 14 days prior to the start of the course you will receive a full refund.
- If you cancel between 7-14 days prior to the start of the course you will receive a 50% refund.
- If you cancel less than 7 days before the event you will not be entitled to a refund.
If you are unable to attend but wish to transfer the booking to someone else, you can do this up to the day before the course starts without any further cost by contacting us via email.
Cancellation by York St John University
In some circumstances we may need to take the decision to cancel a CPD course, workshop or event. In this case all delegates will be offered a full refund, and if appropriate, be offered priority booking on any rescheduled course in the future. It may also be possible to transfer a booking to another CPD course, if appropriate.
